The object of life is not to sit here and do nothing. Every cause has an effect, and you came into this life for a cause and a purpose so you must have an effect. You don’t go to school to stay there. You don’t go to work not to get paid. You don’t build a house and not move into it. You don’t get a suit made and don’t wear it. You cannot live without expecting to die. You cannot die without the expectancy of the grave. And you cannot expect that the grave is the end.. because that would mean that God has created you for a foolish purpose.
I advise you to stop sharing your dreams with people who try to hold you back, even if they’re your parents. Because, if you’re the kind of person who senses there’s something out there for you beyond whatever it is you’re expected to do - if you want to be EXTRA-ordinary - you will not get there by hanging around a bunch of people who tell you you’re not extraordinary. Instead, you will probably become as ordinary as they expect you to be.

I feel too much. That’s what’s going on.’ ‘Do you think one can feel too much? Or just feel in the wrong ways?’ ‘My insides don’t match up with my outsides.’ ‘Do anyone’s insides and outsides match up?’ ‘I don’t know. I’m only me.’ ‘Maybe that’s what a person’s personality is: the difference between the inside and outside.’ ‘But it’s worse for me.’ ‘I wonder if everyone thinks it’s worse for him.’ ‘Probably. But it really is worse for me.
